Social Media Coordinator

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised social media co-ordinator to join our team.

This is a fast-paced and diverse role involving social media content creation, with particular emphasis on writing and editing captions, understanding tone of voice, scheduling posts, publishing, and sourcing appropriate imagery.

Multi-tasking is your forte, with the expert ability to organise your time effectively across multiple client accounts. Every day will be different with your time split between copywriting, freelancer management and client communication.

Your passion for social media means you are confident in using all mainstream platforms and planning tools. You will be super organised and obsessed with spelling and grammar, running your fine-tooth comb over each client’s monthly social media content.

Your role will also include helping out with a variety of copywriting tasks, including blog writing, newsletters, industry articles and more.

We’re after someone who’s a whizz with words, understands the digital landscape and will deliver stand-out content for our clients.

  • Write, edit and proofread a range of social media content in line with client briefs and brand guidelines
  • Schedule, manage and publish social content to mainstream channels using scheduling software like Hootsuite, Loomly and Buffer
  • Creative thinking and coming up with new social media ideas for clients
  • Write, proof and edit copy for a wide range of mediums including e newsletters, websites, e-books, magazines and industry articles when required
  • Monitor the performance of social media channels through monthly reporting and analysis

 Required qualifications & experience

  • Degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • 2 years+ experience in copywriting, editing, or social media management
  • Highly organised and driven
  • Strong copywriting skills and pedantic with spelling and grammar
  • A commitment to your own learning and development and the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients and freelancers
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience understanding and effectively carrying out a brief
  • Analytical prowess and the ability to solve problems with innovative thinking
  • Be interested in the full spectrum of the marketing mix
